Inner Sanctum Music News 11-23-08

Hey guys – hope that your week was good last week. I had an unexpected local surprise – I got to see Cleveland’s own The Twilight, who were on the bill prior to a special evening of discussion at the Agora featuring Cleveland music celebs Jules Belkin, longtime Agora mastermind Hank LoConti, and legendary broadcaster Kid Leo. The Twilight used their performance slot to break in their new guitar player Nick, recently added to fill out the band’s overall sound. The Agora performance was the first show for Nick, and the last show for a while for The Twilight, who are planning to enter the studio shortly to begin working on a new album.
Here’s the rest of the music news from last night’s Inner Sanctum:
Cleveland/Akron locals Low in the Sky have had their music featured in the familiar series of trailers for THX sound encoding. You can now see that trailer for yourself in the short film that runs before the latest edition of the Indiana Jones movies. Low in the Sky features producer Corey Farrow and also former members of Poets of Another Breed. You can find more info on Low in the Sky and related projects at myspace.com/lowinthesky.
Cleveland metalheads At No End are heading towards the finish line working on a new album. They hit the studio this weekend to review the mixes for the new CD titled Urban Holocaust, which is now slated for release in early 2009 Drummer Kenny Easterly, who had been filling in on drums through most of 2008, is now a permanent member of At No End, and plays drums on the entire new CD. Hear the new material live when At No End plays their next show on December 19th at the Jigsaw Saloon with Blood Wolf and MSOD also on that bill.
