It’s me, Matt – the guy that is semi-responsible for sometimes keeping Pat in line, and officially, I also contribute music news and concert calendar info to the Inner Sanctum!
Thanks to Pat, we’ve got an official web presence for Inner Sanctum that we’ll all be contributing to, and I’ll add my initial piece by putting up the music news from last week’s show. I’ll continue to post the music news and concert calendar stuff here on a weekly basis after the show.

Those crazy cats from Redwater Rojo are finally done recording their new EP. They’ve got plans and many surprises for the CD release party that will be announced shortly with details at their website, redwaterrojo.com, and on Myspace at myspace.com/redwaterrojo
If you’ve been waiting for the debut CD from Tenafly Viper, the project featuring members of Mushroomhead, Chimaira, and Florida band The Autumn Offering, you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer. The Autumn Offering is signed to indie label Victory Records, and according to the Tenafly Viper band members, Victory is asking for most of the potential profits from the album, and that’s a deal breaker for the band. Bass player Jim LaMarca told Scene Magazine quote – I wouldn’t say it’s over – who knows what we’re going to do with the record, the situation kind of sucks. You can check out two songs from the album on the band’s Myspace page.

Tenafly Viper – Reno
Kate Voegele was back on One Tree Hill this week, continuing her role as singer-songwriter Mia. The episode featured a new track “You Can’t Break A Broken Heart,” which you can find on the expanded edition of Voegele’s debut CD Don’t Look Away, which was released last week.
